I am truly very very blessed. A few years ago when I discovered my love for mini books my creations bloomed and it was showing. I have been lucky enough to have the right people in my life at just the right time. I have a dear friend who continually encouraged me some years back to start custom orders for people that came into her store that were looking for that special one of a kind gift, I did a few custom orders with that encouragement, love and support. Through that I learned that I also wanted to teach. Unfortunately the store closed and it was so sad for everyone. I also had to find a new place to call "home" - Ladies you know what I mean. Shortly there after I was "discovered" and was asked to join the Teresa Collins Design team, this was a huge dream of mine. I have always been drawn to Teresa's designs and style and it shows in my work, again I have been truly blessed by Teresa's support and love. I found a new local scrapbook store and they gave me a chance and I started teaching, I had only taught a few classes when another opportunity came my way. I started designing and creating kits for a friends new online store. I also helped lead the design team. I still had this dream kicking around, I took a few classes in the fall of 2012 about pursuing your dreams, and it felt like it was time for me to live my dreams, to take them further, to see if I could do it on my own. Deep Down I knew it was time. Teresa came to Washington that fall as well and really encouraged me to go for it, that it was time for me to go on my own and live my dream. So in January of 2013 I started my own business, Cherinspirations, (pronounced: See-Her-Inspirations) with the help and support of my family - this dream could not have come true without Nanna - Shavanna my mother in law. She is my rock! My local scrapbook stores have stood by me and supported me and encouraged me and I am taught throughout the Pacific Northwest into Canada until our stores started closing their doors. I offer my left over class kits online to those that are not close enough to have attended one of my classes in person. More than anything, this dream wouldn't have come true with out the support of YOU! Thank you all so much, I am so very thankful and excited where my journey will take me next!
