The stockings are hung, gifts are wrapped and it's time to relax. Time to reflect on what a wonderful year it has been, how blessed we are as a family. Together.
Not everything was accomplished this year that I had wanted to do but that's ok. Sad but true, I forgot to make cards, buy cards, mail cards, No cards this year. Oh well there's always next year right?
So how do you like my tree? I really love my tree, it's one of those narrow kind, pre-lit... HA HA if you only knew... I had to restring those lights but it's done and up and I love it.
I can't wait for Elisha to open her gift... That is my favorite part of Christmas, watching her open something she wants!! She never really told us exactly what she wanted just a few hints of what she needed... So we're pretty excited here!
Tonight we will go to Nana and Chucks for our traditional Christmas Eve Diner, Chuck is preparing prime rib... I can't wait!!! I think I will skip all meals today!!! Then nana will read a Christmas story just as her mom did with the grand kids... Love this tradition, that she continues even with E being older. A tradition I will carry on someday to my grandchildren.
