Giving Thanks a wonderful holiday weekend

We are so blessed. We have so much to be thankful for this year. So much to be great full for.

Traditionally Thanksgiving is my day, I cook everything except pies... Not so much a baker. But I love preparing the Thanksgiving meal. Elisha helped me all day last Wednesday preparing all of the food, we chopped for hours! I brined the Turkey, it was so good!

On the menu: Turkey, ham, stuffing, cheesy cauliflower, yams, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls and olives. More than enough for the 5 of us!

Chuck was missed this year as he flew back to his daughter Holly's, she just purchased her first home so he was there for their first Thanksgiving in their new home, What a gift! So Shavanna was here solo and I made sure she had a good time... She brought the pies, Thanks!!

That evening Jim, Brittney and Kylie came and spent the remainder of the holiday weekend with us. On Saturday evening we went to The Scrappy Stamper and had a girls night out, it was so much fun! We chatted and created, everyone was working on different art projects. Everyone there has such amazing talent and it was so much fun visiting with everyone! I probably got the least amount accomplished as I was having Scrapbookers Block, lol! Miss Linda in all of her cuteness came in carrying a vintage suitcase that she had altered and covered, it was so beyond beautiful we all decided that we want to have another get together and have a suitcase party!  Here's a photo of part of the store, I'm really partial to this section full of Tim Holtz and Ranger products... Love, Love, Love!

Sunday morning Kylie cooked us her specialty breakfast! This young lady is quite the chef! She made us this amazing breakfast casserole with hash browns, green onions, onions, sausage, eggs and cheese! So good!

What a blessed holiday we had!

So today is December 1st, anyone working on their December Daily albums?  ~Cheri
