Teresa Collins Ebosser & Craftwell blog hop! My bracelet projects and video tutorial using the new ebosser.

Welcome to the Teresa Collins and Craftwell blog hop!

I will be honest, This has become a new addiction - embossing on leather, making all types of bracelets!! I have had so so much fun creating them. here are two of my favorites so far!! I just couldn't choose one to share with you! lol!!

Step one: I purchased these leather pieces from my local craft store. I cut the bottom one to the size of my wrist then corner rounded the edges.

I wanted a specific part of the pattern on the embossing folder to show on my cuff. The easiest way to to that was to hold it up to the light to make sure I had it just right. Then I ran it through the machine. It was amazing!!

I then painted the entire piece and once dry I then sanded it to expose the embossed pattern. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out!! So super excited!!

I then wanted it to have more of a "finished look" so starting in the upper left corner going clockwise... I cut a piece of trim from my stash and slip stitched it to create a circle of lace and set it aside. Then using my ruler I was able to pierce holes every 1/8" inch around each side and one end - stitching another piece trim along the edges. To finish I poked two holes in the center, laid my lace circle down then stitched a rhinestone button to the center. The rhinestone button keeps the lace circle in place.

To finish, I added a snap closure.

Ok so just one more!! Real quick....

I made this one in much the same fashion, it is a wrap bracelet. You really want to watch this video to see how I was able to emboss this long strip of leather to make this bracelet.

So there you go, I hope you enjoyed my projects!
