Happy Birthday Card using Teresa Collins Designs He Said, She Said

A little something to brighten his day...
Just a quick and easy card for HIM.

For the base I cut a 4 x 3" from the back side of the He said "quotes" paper and rounded the corners. Added the journal piece and "a perfect day" from the He Said die cuts using pop dots. I added the blue enamel dot to the center of one of the He Said chipboard buttons and added it to the center of the journal piece overlapping the left side of the banner. The added the "today" die cut to the lower right.

Supper quick and easy, add a little "Happy Birthday" to the inside of the card.

Teresa Collins Tell Your Story pumpkin tutorial

I am so excited to be able to participate in the Xyron Blog hop this week! I just LOVE my sticker maker, it is one of my favorite "GO TO" tools!

I made this great little pumpkin home decor piece for one of my shelves in my home office. I love to change things up with the seasons. I started with a 4x5 piece of canvas and painted it a Pearl White (I just love a little shine!) Then I added 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 piece of Pennants paper (back) and outlined it with Black ink.

I used the large oval frame from the Tell Your Story Stamp set to make the pumpkin, I stamped the frame onto the following papers: Damask (back), Frames (back) & Cards (back). Then I tore them all at the same time so my pieces would line up when I put them back together. I tried to tear them with a rounded shape to create a Pumpkin "feel". For the stem and the leaf I cut two of the shapes from the Pennant paper and trimmed the leaf until it had the shape I wanted. I then ran them through the sticker maker!

I really wanted to create more "texture" to the pumpkin so I added some crackle glaze and it created some bubbles and a little crackle in spots, just the look I was after! I used last months free download for the stamp maker and made the Autumn Splendor stamp for the bottom. I added the blue scalloped chipboard piece to the right and trimmed to size. Then I added the orange dots scallop borders to the top and left sides.

Make sure to head over to XYRON's BLOG HERE to see what they have done with Tell Your Story.  And there is a give-a-way!!!  A Teresa Collins X sticker maker and a goodies bag with Teresa Collins Designs product.  For Details on the Give-a-way and ways to enter go to the Teresa Collins Designs Blog.

Halloween is just around the corner and I've got some great ideas using the Teresa Collins Stampmaker

Have I ever told you how much I love Halloween? I do, it's one of my most favorite holidays!

To create this card I punched three circles in the center of the card front (chevron paper) then added the small black dots paper behind the punched circles. Then I inked around the edges using an orange ink. Then layered them onto the card front. I then stamped the Halloween images onto white cardstock and inked the edges in purple and adhered them using pop dots. Then to finish the card I added some metallic orange ribbon with a bow tied around the card.

When the calendar came around to see if I was interested in creating stamps for the Teresa Collins Stampmaker I was so excited to see that October was available. I jumped all over that!!

These are the stamps I created for this months' FREE download. I love them! To download this months' images click {HERE}. Be sure to check out the Design team blog for other great ideas on how to use the stamps!

Happy Valentines Day!! Card Making with the Teresa Collins Stampmaker free downlaod

I love Valentines... ok, truth: I love the chocolate that comes along with the day!

Making fun little valentines cards is pretty fun too!

The January free monthly download was full of fun little valentine stamps to create with and is what I used to create the card. Click on the above link for the free pdf monthly download or go directly to the TC Stampmaker website to obtain your free copy.

First you will want to create all of your stamps as I did below:

Then you will want to create all of your layers:

  • The white base stamped with "I love you" border measures 5 3/4 x 5 3/4
  • I then cut a paper bag 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 using a wavy blade trimmer stamped the hearts and the large I {heart} U in the upper left and centered it onto the white base.
  • I cut a 1 1/2 strip of burlap and create a folded banner and glued a 4 inch scallop circle from the new Teresa Collins Spring Fling collection paper: houndstooth
  • I stamped the tag "will you be my valentine?" onto a book page and trimmed edges, added ribbon and some bling to the top of the tag.
  • I cut a 2 1/4 inch scallop circle from the TC Spring fling line paper: mixed brocade (side B - dots) then stamped the outlined stiched heart onto it adhearing using 3D foam squares.
  • I stamped the "xoxo" strip onto white and folded around one of Teresa Collins "Ali's Pins" and adhered behind the heart.
  • I created little tags from cream craft paper and stamped "QT" & "Kisses", I stapled "QT" with some white ribbon, layered on top of the bottom of the scallop heart. I slid "Kisses" under the lower right of the scallop heart and added a gem.
  • Adhere your creation onto a black 6 x 6 card and your done!

Happy New Year Card using Teresa Collins Stampmaker

Happy New Year everyone!! I am so excited for 2012 and all the good things that are happening for me and my family. I hope this year brings goodness to you and yours, Cheers!!

I created the layers of the card then stamped 2012 as my background in a blue ink. I then stamped the Happy New Year in a darker color, the brown. I love the contrast in this card with the colors and how you can clearly see each stamp yet the do not "compete" with each other but rather COMPLIMENT one another nicely.

You can download a copy of the images to create this and many more cards {HERE}.

I love playing with stamps like this, laying one over another and playing with color combinations. So much fun!! ~Cheri

Teresa Collins Stampmaker - my projects used for HSN/CHAs 2011

I'm so very excited to finally get to share with you all the projects I had made with the Stampmaker for Teresa's HSN event and CHA 2011s.

This is just a little charm bracelet, The background image is also stamped.

Here are the same stamps used to create this necklace.

Did you know you could also emboss with the machine? I used the same image to create two different results, this one is the embossed:

And here is the same image used but made into a stamp rather than an embossing plate to make this necklace and another card.

I love this one, did you know you can make a photo or drawing into a stamp? I love this, think about the possibilities - baby's feet, your child's hand writting or drawing...the possibilities are so endless with this machine! The yellow background is also a stamp that comes with the machine and I use it all of the time.

ahhh, last but not least - my new addiction - I love making these necklaces... It's not my original idea and I will share a tutorial with you soon on how you can make these too, it will blow your mind and take your machine to a. whole. new. level.

Have an awesome weekend!! Cheri

Used the Teresa Collins - Giving Thanks Stamps!

I just loved playing around with these stamps from the Teresa Collins Giving Thanks Line

I love how this Thank You card is both feminine and masculine, these stamps are just so much FUN to stamp and create with.

The Thank You card is a real quick easy card. I first inked the right side of the front of the card then trimmed up a piece of the Thank You paper and punched four circles out of the right side. Placed it on the card then stamped the circular "thank you" stamp inside the circles onto the base of the card. Then I stamped and layered the "thank you" and popped it up on the card. I finished it off with one of Jamie's gem's.

The Remember Gratitude card was also a fun one, I just stamped the boarder all around then stamped the circle "gratitude" stamp repeatedly. I did "mask" the boarder for it as I was stamping the top and bottom circles. Then I stamped the remember tag and popped it off the page as well. I finished it with one of Taylor's clips and little ribbon from the Giving Thanks line.

I thought the Thankful tent card would be cute on the table at Thanksgiving, same idea as perhaps a place card. I love how the border is so elegant, just perfect with the framed word - Thankful. I finished it off with one of Jamie's gem's.

Have a great day! Cheri

Poor blog, it's been over a week! Let's catch up here...

Sometimes life just happens to the best of us! It's been a whirl wind crazy past few weeks and I'm not ready to share ALL the details yet but here's a few.

Work - My other PASSION - Real Estate has magically picked up and when that happens I consume myself with it because who knows how long the tide will stay in! There is nothing better than making dreams come true for people, when they walk in the front door and you see them "move in" it's a feeling that you never want to let go of.

It's ALL GOOD!!

So, I've been invited to teach online classes for one of my most favorite people/places on the net, my mind is soooo very excited and honored and and and.... I just have to finish the paperwork. I'm just gushing inside with GLEE!! If I could sing... I would...a happy little tune.♫♪♫♪♫

Then.... One of the local scrapbook stores - Sharin Memories - asked me if I'd be interested in also teaching at their store...if I'd be interested...OF COURSE! Again, honored, amazed and SO VERY THANKFUL!

So, Teaching...WHO KNEW??? Online, and locally here at The Scrappy Stamper and Sharin Memories!

I have one more exciting little announcement, but that deserves it's own little post. I'll tease you for a moment, it has nothing to do with Real Estate or Scrapbooking and YET... It DOES. How wild is that????

I can't have a post with out some eye candy so.... OK, so if you didn't notice I've been playing around with STAMPS & this week featured on Teresa Collins' Blog - Here's a few of the projects, you can see more pictures and tips and tricks on her blog.

Using the Celebrate Stamp set:

Using the Blingage Alphabet & Giving Thanks Stamp sets: psst... be sure to check out her blog to see how I made those pumpkins! :)

Have a great night! ~Cheri
