Antique Mini Album - altered drawers and hinge - using She Said from the He Said, She said collection

Hey everyone, I have another fun and unique book I'm sharing today!
This entire book was created around these antique drawers I picked up at the local antique store and I knew I wanted to do something fun and different with them! So I painted them bright white and removed the knobs.

I attached a hinge to the back of the drawers - You can see the hinge on the video below. Then I added a clasp on the fronts of the drawers using the holes from the original knobs.
Here is a quick view, it's just an accordion album!
Here is a fold out page. To create the flap page I just sat an extra piece of cardstock next to my base page then adhered them together using the matching decorative tape from the collection. Easy Peasy!
I thought it would be fun to use black and white photo's with the collection and it was a perfect match!
I love all of the pocket pages and tags for extra journaling.
Here is the front of one of the fold out pages.

This was such a fun book to make! I hope you are inspired to think outside of the box and create something fun and unique!

Here is a quick little video of the book, I hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday Card using Teresa Collins Designs He Said, She Said

A little something to brighten his day...
Just a quick and easy card for HIM.

For the base I cut a 4 x 3" from the back side of the He said "quotes" paper and rounded the corners. Added the journal piece and "a perfect day" from the He Said die cuts using pop dots. I added the blue enamel dot to the center of one of the He Said chipboard buttons and added it to the center of the journal piece overlapping the left side of the banner. The added the "today" die cut to the lower right.

Supper quick and easy, add a little "Happy Birthday" to the inside of the card.

He Said She Said mini file folder book

Have you all had a chance to play with these new mini file folders? I have to say I am LOVING them!! In this little book I combined pieces from both the He Said and She Said collections. The larger mini file folder is from the He said collection. My daughter "E" loves the dark gray glitter border strips from the He said collection so I had to use it on the front of the book for her! The photo corners are just so awesome, they are my most favorite parts of all of the new collections!

'
Here is one of the new envelopes, this is from the He Said collection, they are so much fun!! You can add the die cut journal cards in them, I added some of the die cut flowers to my journal card and layered them. The flowers are so sweet!

I used the new decorative washi tape to this page I love the how they match her shirt and the blue in her eyes.

I hope this inspires you to mix things up a little! I had a lot of fun playing with both of the collections to create this for the CHA booth.

He Said or She Said??? Stitched Mini album...

This is a fun mini book where the pages are stitched to the spine of the mini file folder! Yes, directions are included on how I created the pages for this cutie!

I love this Photo of Dan and I as children. Neither of us have changed much and those that know us will love this! Danny loves his riding mower and that's where you will find him most weekends in the summer. I still love big fun hats and large hand bags! I thought it would be fun to do a "He Said" ~ "She Said" mini album using the 6x6 paper pad from the "She Said" collection and one on the NEW mini folders from the "He Said" collection.

These are what truly inspired this mini book:
These are the strips you cut off of the bottom of the 12 x 12 pages - did you know there are 2 per strip, one on each side?? This is the PERFECT collection to make a fun He Said vs. She Said mini book. It will be a great little book to keep on the coffee table, a great conversation piece for company that may not know these fun facts about you!

To prepare I just came up with fun little quirky facts about the two of us and typed them up in word (font used: "typist") then printed and cut them to fit on the pages.  I used the arrow stamps from the Vintage Finds stamps.

I love the washi tape and the layered flowers, I put pop dots between the flowers to give them more depth.

This is one of the pages that is stitched together.

Ha, yes that is true, even with GPS I manage to still get lost!

Yes, so true! Neither of us have moved or lived out of state.

And you thought I was the party girl???

Supplies used to create this fun little book: He Said mini file folder. She said 6 x 6 paper pad. She said banners. She said Stickers. He Said She Said - Die Cuts, flowers & buttons.

To create the mini book cover and pages:

Trim the medium file folder to 6" high.

6x6 She Said papers for your inside pages:
Cut colored dots paper 3 1/2
Fold Yellow dots paper 1 1/4 from left side
Fold large blue flowers in half.
Fold Doilies 4 3/4 you will have a strip left over
Cut banners 3 1/2
Sew pages with zig zag stitch:
Yellow dots small strip side to left side of colored dots
Colored words paper (back of doilies paper) small strip to banners.

Lay your folded papers onto fold of mini folder with front of folder face down.
Dots face down, large blue flowers face down, doilies face down then sew with a straight stitch on the fold. This will give you 6 pages and your mini file album cover. Corner round the pages. Decorate all pages as desired using the matching embellishments from the collection He Said She Said.

My Girl Mini Album a Teresa Collins CHA Booth sample using the new He Said She Said collection

I am so excited, we are finally on the road heading out to go over the mountains to pick this girl up! She recently fractured her foot so she can't drive. One of her long time friends Clarissa took her home over the mountains last weekend so they could spend some this week together. I think that is just what she needed but I have missed my girl.

This was a project I made for Teresa Collins Designs booth at CHA this last January using the new He Said, She Said collection. I love these papers!!

This is one of the new envelopes, there are different sizes and shapes and the smallest one has Glitter - SWOON!
And the New Photo Corners, these are my most favorite and they are in each of the new collections.
Little fun details using the chipboard elements, Stickers, die cuts and brads.

I love these green photo corners, so cute!!

Here's another library card, included in the envelopes package, and the NEW Stitched banners are super uber cute!
These die cut cards are so super cute!
WooHoo, kiddo, we will be seeing you soon!! I can't wait to see my best friend Margie, she has very fun plans for us tonight, I'm so excited!! This is going to be a long drive thru the passes which had snow storms last night, Here's praying to safe travels!! Have a great weekend!

Don't forget to check out my new class, I added more seats! See details here --->  Mini file folder class.
