Teresa Collins Stampmaker - my projects used for HSN/CHAs 2011

I'm so very excited to finally get to share with you all the projects I had made with the Stampmaker for Teresa's HSN event and CHA 2011s.

This is just a little charm bracelet, The background image is also stamped.

Here are the same stamps used to create this necklace.

Did you know you could also emboss with the machine? I used the same image to create two different results, this one is the embossed:

And here is the same image used but made into a stamp rather than an embossing plate to make this necklace and another card.

I love this one, did you know you can make a photo or drawing into a stamp? I love this, think about the possibilities - baby's feet, your child's hand writting or drawing...the possibilities are so endless with this machine! The yellow background is also a stamp that comes with the machine and I use it all of the time.

ahhh, last but not least - my new addiction - I love making these necklaces... It's not my original idea and I will share a tutorial with you soon on how you can make these too, it will blow your mind and take your machine to a. whole. new. level.

Have an awesome weekend!! Cheri

Winter Ball and day 9 of 25 favorite things on Teresa's blog....

Elisha went to winter ball last weekend with her boyfriend Robert.  Let me tell you I was OVER THE TOP excited when she told me they were going!! She was even excited to go DRESS shopping, she went on the internet and searched for "The Dress".  We went to the store that had the dress she saw online and of course, they did not have even one in stock - and we only had mere days to find one. However, we lucked out and she found another in the same store that she loved...and...are you ready... It had Pink in it!! One store one dress, could not believe our good fortune!!

My friend Charlie came over and helped me help her get ready and she took a ton of photo's for me. Thank you so much Charlie for all of your help!!

The night before Charlie and I were talking about any last minute things we would need and we agreed...how can she go to her fist date dance and not have a bit of AQUA NET... if your old enough you will be laughing out loud! Of course I ran out and picked some up, almost half shocked they still make it! But they changed the formula - it does not stink as it once did nor does it HOLD like it used too, I almost felt robbed. O'well.

E was such a good sport - she let me do WHATEVER I wanted with her hair and make-up!! So I curled it in ringlets and added one of Taylors clips from the Blingage collection! I loved the experience so much, so thankful she just let me have a mommy moment of pure joy!!

DAY 9 of Teresa's 25 days of favorite things....7 Gypsies!!! I am just jumping for joy for the chance to win this, and you can too! Go to her blog for details!!

This Close

Well, I still haven't been able to create or scrapbook. However, I was able to get a little mental break and help "E" paint her room yesterday...

Is this a great photo or what? This was taken the morning of her birthday last week, opening her Home Depot gift card which came with a key chain that had a little paint brush charm attached. It was perfect. She has wanted to paint her room her favorite color of blue for so long. My husband is not one for change, or paint. So this is a really big event for us. You can see in her face almost a look of disbelief changing to pure joy.

She was so excited to get the paint like the commercial - "it paint's like a primer" Our neighbor told us about it when they painted a room in their home and it does work pretty nice! Saved a lot of time. LOVE THAT!!!

Somehow we measured wrong or put it on to thick in spots because we ran out of paint. We were that close to being done last night...

I love that girl. We are so lucky, she is not like a typical teen should be. With Danny in the auto industry and I in real estate there have been some tough times financially. Over a year ago we had to sit down as a family and talk about the hard stuff in life that you try not to share with your kids. We had to do it though, we didn't want her to think the "elephant" in the room had anything to do with her. We wanted her to know the difference between wanting something and needing something. It was a hard conversation.

When we asked her what she needed for her birthday she said, I'm good, I need nothing. After days of prying, she admitted to wanting something - just paint. All she wanted was paint but she didn't want to ask because she knew she didn't need it. How amazing is that? I can't wait to come home from my open house today and help her finish painting her room.  Have an amazing day!!! ~Cheri
